Celebrate Earth Day : Pledge an Act, Save Our Planet

April 22 marks the 41st anniversary of Earth Day, a time to reaffirm your commitment to reducing your carbon footprint and going green. This year, the theme of Earth Day is A Billion Acts of Green: a people-powered campaign to generate a billion acts of environmental service and advocacy before Earth Summit 2012.

So visit http://act.earthday.org/ and pledge your act of green! Don't worry - these can be small and simple or as big as you want. It may be the incentive you've been looking for. The end result of this campaign will be to demonstrate how individual action against climate change can add up to produce change on a global level.

And since April 22nd is a holiday, we say celebrate the earth by doing some fun activities outdoors - beach or picnic anyone? Lets hold thumbs for the weather!

If we all do our LITTLE bit it will make a BIG difference!
