GOING AWAY FOR THE HOLIDAYS

We are going to Kommetjie in Cape Town.  We will be visiting my father that is staying in an old age home in Kuilsriver.  We will be leaving on the 19 December 2009 returning on the 26 December 2009.  We are trying to get place for longer but untill now there is nothing.  Wouter and Chanelle is traveling with us they are going to Mosselbay untill the 2 January 2010.

So we as the Myburgh bundel would just like to wish all the HKGK family a Merry Chrismas and a Happy 2010.

My neece Attie best friend is Vicky du Preez.  The old people amongst us will still remember Fiestaland.  Well Vicky du Preez would sing at Fiestaland together with Bobby Angel, Lance James etc.  Piet were and still is a fan of Vicky du Preez, so he was in heaven last sunday when she was also at my neece's birthday party.

QUAD WEEKEND AT VILLIERS FREE STATE

Arriving the Friday night and unpacking.  The Saturday morning we got ready for the big ride.  You will see amongst the photos Bud Spencer also joined us.  Piet also had to try all the holes and the ups and downs so yes he were the one to be pulled out of a hole that he could not get out from.  This was my first time ever on a bike.  I enjoyed it.  I had a driver (willie) so I could look around.  It is so awesome to drive through the farms, you get so close to the sheep and cattle.  Even when we drove alongside the river it was so nice and you are so close to nature.  The last photo were taken of one of the owners cat on the quad.
